Gil in Final Fantasy 14
Gil is the currency used in Final Fantasy 14. Players can gain it by defeating enemies after battle and finding chests full of it; selling equipment and Materia; or buying it from NPCs on the Market Board.
Keep an eye on item values, buying low and selling high is one of the fastest ways to earn Gil quickly, although this approach requires extensive work.
1. It’s a Game Currency
FFxiv Gil is the game's main currency. Players use it to purchase equipment, purchase rumors from Tavern patrons and recruit new units at Warrior's Guild Recruiting centers; housing, crafting and cosmetic purchases such as glamours, minions and mounts also require Gil.
Players can earn FFxiv Gil through storyline battles and errand completion, selling loot from random encounters or dungeons for cash, collecting treasure maps, participating in daily Duty Roulettes or the Challenge Log for free company workshops and leves.
Players of FF14 can make substantial profits using the Market Board to sell items or gear at a profit for real-world money, although doing so can be risky as Square Enix enforces strict EULA and ToS rules against this practice and any players caught doing it can face account suspension or penalties.
2. It’s a Game Add-On
Gil is an expensive way of speeding up progress in-game, but it comes with risks. Square Enix has implemented strict End User License Agreements and Terms of Service agreements which must be abided by - failure to do so could result in account penalties or suspension.
FFxiv Gil can be earned in multiple ways in ff14 gil MMOGAH. Players can quickly make up the difference by participating in FATEs - quick quests that award both experience and gil as rewards - or by taking part in Treasure Maps, special hunts that often give out plenty of gil.
Players can earn Gil by increasing the levels of their crafter and gatherer classes to their max levels in order to sell in-demand items on the market board. Although this can be an extended process, if done properly it can pay dividends in terms of profit gained on market board sales. Players may also gain extra gil from participating in Dungeons, Raids or Guildhests which offer great monetary gains for playing.
3. It’s a Game Character
Gil can be used for purchasing equipment, Materia, inns and transport services as well as purchasing orchestrion tracks. Gil is also used to purchase Gold Saucer coins (GP). Players can earn these at battle and from treasure chests. In addition, the player can sell items, Materia and equipment in exchange for Gil. GP can be earned from enemies after battle as well as Treasure Chests; players may sell items, Materia or equipment sold by selling items back for Gil. Some enemies such as Oretoise will drop Gold Dust which sells for 15,000 Gil; similarly the player may earn enough by opening shops selling items directly in Urbeth or by visiting Moogle vendors that sell materials necessary for Blacksmith/Armorer gear production as well as metal nuggets which may also be sold off at vendors that offer material necessary for Blacksmith/Armorer gear production; all these sources offer their goods or nuggets that can also sell back for Gil.
Some players choose to purchase
through third-party websites and other players rather than earn it themselves in game, known as real money trading (RMT). Although Square Enix discourages this practice, some players use RMT currency for powerleveling their characters to higher levels.
4. It’s a Game Collectible
Gil is an integral component of the game and players should understand its use to purchase weapons, equipment, housing furnishings and mounts. Earning Gil without breaking game rules requires participating in activities like gathering, trading and completing in-game missions; players should ensure that this goal is reached successfully.
FFxiv Gil can be gained through battles by selling loot (with the amount dependent on battle type and difficulty). It may also be found in treasure chests, Moogle Shops or by taking on tasks and quests.
Gathering is one of the easiest and fastest ways to make money in Final Fantasy 14, yet its risks include quickly burning out or losing interest in doing it. A strong grasp of market conditions and how to outwit competition are essential in this Gil-making game; or try your luck in Dungeons, Raids or Guildhests for decent amounts of Gil as well.
